Feeling Social?
Colorado Gives Day is coming up on December 6, but you don't have to wait to make a donation to your favorite nonprofits! Any donations made via ColoradoGives.org through that day will count toward Colorado Gives Day fundraising goals AND the $1.6 million Colorado Gives Day Incentive Fund.

The past few years have presented unique challenges for our staff and the survivors we serve. While the COVID-19 pandemic made our work more difficult than ever, it also gave us the opportunity to adapt and become more flexible in the ways we reach people and provide our services. Cuts to many of our traditional funding sources have impacted our bottom line, but we are working hard to find new sources of funding. Much like the survivors we serve, we are resilient and we will persist! The following client quote illustrates the impact of our work:

"We felt like such a burden was lifted from our shoulders. Our advocate made me feel heard and helped get a referral for an attorney. We are beyond grateful for Project Safeguard. We had all but given up and with the help of our attorney referral we had a successful outcome at court."

We would not be able to provide life-changing legal services to survivors of gender-based violence without our partners and supporters and we are grateful for each and every one of you! We hope you will consider making a donation to Project Safeguard to help us reach our $10,000 Colorado Gives Day goal. The graphic below provides information on how your contribution will make a difference for the organization and the survivors we serve.
Join Us in Congratulating Nancy Olson on Her Retirement!
Last, but not least, Nancy Olson officially celebrated her retirement on November 18. We are fortunate to have benefited from Nancy’s leadership, vision, and sense of humor since 2013. Nancy was a fixture in the Colorado nonprofit community for more than 25 years and spent nearly two decades working in domestic violence services at the local, state, and national level.

Please note that Project Safeguard will be closed December 19th through January 2nd to give our staff time to rest and care for themselves. We will return to the office January 3rd.
Staff emails and voicemails will not be monitored during this time. Anyone needing domestic violence resources or support should contact the Safehouse Denver 24-hour crisis and information line at (303) 318-9989. Additional local and national resources can be found on Project Safeguard's website.
