In-Person Worship Is Back This Sunday!

Join us Sunday, October 2, 2022, at 8:00 AM for in-person worship. The doors of the physical church will be open! We will still be streaming our 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM services. Note: the 10:30 am service is virtual only.

Join us virtually or in person on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at 7:00 PM for a Remembrance Service. We will come together as a church to remember UBC disciples who have transitioned from earth to eternity during the pandemic. Pre-registration is not necessary for this service.

UBC Missions Updates

We are grateful for the many ways that our UBC Missions Ministries continue to impact and transform the community of Durham and beyond. Thank you for your continued support of the ministry with your generosity and service as we fulfill our church's mission of bringing spiritual renewal to the city of Durham. 

UBC Outreach Ministry is partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Durham to help build safe, affordable homes in Durham. We invite you to volunteer on October 5, 2022, at 8:30 AM. 

Volunteers may be asked to do any number of projects including framing, landscaping, painting, site clean-up, or other miscellaneous tasks. All volunteers should wear weather-appropriate clothing they do not mind ruining. Please note that Durham Habitat is requiring all volunteers on site to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. 

ACE Tutoring

The Ace Tutoring ministry is available to help students in all grades with all subjects. Email ubcace@gmail.com for additional information or to become a tutor.

Join Union Baptist Church in supporting Breast Cancer and Liver Cancer Awareness Month! Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in American women. Routine mammograms are the best way to find breast cancer early, when it is easier to treat and before it is big enough to feel or cause symptoms. Liver cancer is rare, but if diagnosed early, it can be managed with many different treatment options. Educating one another about the early signs of these cancers can save lives.
