RockstAR News & Updates for May, 2018
Dear RockstARs,

With summer finally in view, we're starting to get pretty psyched about about our annual pilgrimage to the adventure racing shrine of Bark Lake, and all the dirty, swampy, sweaty fun that awaits on July 21st!  As always we've been busy mixing things up to make the experience a new one each year - the following are some of the highlights that we have in store:

- a return of the "do-what-you-want-when-you-want" format we introduced last year, in where teams can attempt checkpoints by way of whichever discipline they choose (bike, paddle or trek)

- an all-new new prologue course for the 8-hour race

- new and improved task-based checkpoints, and the return of some old favourites (the new and improved "beer or root beer" CP is one we're really excited about!)

- some re-tooling of our traditional water-based CPs

- a racecourse made up of 28 all-new checkpoints (20 for the 4-hour course), which will provide more options for biking this time around

Registration is already starting to fill - we're currently at 65% of full capacity, and on track for another sold-out event.  Lock in your team's spot today at www.racetherockstar.com!

RockstAR, Featuring Jeremy Tozer

One thing we won't change is the fantastic post-race vibe created by our friend Jeremy Tozer, who has developed an uncanny knack for bringing out new energy from even the most exhausted of RockstAR racers.  Jeremy is in pretty high demand these days, but he's locked in the date for our post-race gig and will once again be bringing you live jams throughout the evening.  One more tune, one more tune!!
