Volunteer Editors Needed for the

ATLAS 2027 Project

Do you have:

• A desire to make a difference?
• An eye for detail?
• A strong command of written English?
• A geoscience background?

The ATLAS 2027 project is updating and expanding the 1994 Geological Atlas of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin to celebrate CEGA’s 100th anniversary in 2027.

Over 200 subject matter experts have been involved in creating 52 chapters.

The Editorial Committee of the ATLAS 2027 Project is looking for volunteers to oversee chapter submissions for publication.

Accepted individuals will interface with author groups, providing assistance with formating, grammar, clarity, flow and organization.

This is a generational opportunity to learn and connect with basin experts. Your contribution will help create the go-to resource of Canadian geological literature and serve your professional community!
