PD makes history with largest-ever
promotional ceremony
The Blue Ash Police Department promoted several officers in a ceremony November 10 in Blue Ash Council Chambers.

It was the largest promotional ceremony in Blue Ash Police Department history.

  • Lieutenant to Captain: Rob Gerhardt and Roger Pohlman.
  • Sergeant to Lieutenant: Pete Ballauer and Jason Swartwout
  • Detective to Sergeant: Dane Baumgartner
  • Patrol Officer to Sergeant: David Dungan
  • New Officer: Tim Bittner
  • New Auxiliary Officer: Clint Arnold

Mayor Marc Sirkin officiated the ceremony.

Two Blue Ash first responders have been named the 2022 Firefighter of the Year and the 2022 Police Officer of the Year in the fourth annual Safety Awards presented by American Legion NE Post 630. 

Blue Ash Police Officer Abby Ballman was designated the 2022 Police Officer of the Year and Courtenay Brooks was chosen as the 2022 Firefighter of the Year. Congratulations! Read more.
Designers win award for Towne Square
renovation plans
The firm that designed the upcoming renovation of Blue Ash Towne Square has won a design award!

BHDP was awarded in the Landscape Architecture & Community Planning category for the Towne Square design at the Cincinnati Design Awards on November 4.

Officer awarded for courageous act
Officer Pete Bronner was honored with a Meritorious Police Service Commendation for Courage at the November 10 City Council meeting. Read more.

Thank you to the veterans and all who attended the Blue Ash Veterans Day Ceremony and Luncheon at the Recreation Center on November 11.
Cram-A-Cruiser to benefit Operation Give Back
Stop by the Blue Ash Kroger tomorrow (11/19) to help Cram-A-Cruiser with canned and dried goods!

The event by the Blue Ash Police Department will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Kroger, 4100 Hunt Road.

Your donation will benefit local families through Operation Give Back.
Santa at Summit Park tonight (11/18)!
Santa Claus is coming to town - tonight!

The Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan will be making a stop at the Warm 98.5 Ice Rink at Summit Park on November 18 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
