Veterans Day Ceremony and Luncheon on 11/11
The public is invited to the largest Veterans Day Ceremony in Southwest Ohio on Friday, November 11, 2022, at 10:30 a.m., at the Bicentennial Veterans Memorial Park in downtown Blue Ash.

The free event features a memorial ceremony, tolling of bells, music from the Ohio Military Band, essays from local students, and keynote speaker Jim Meyers, Past Commander, American Legion Post 630.

Following the ceremony, the public is invited to a luncheon at the Blue Ash Recreation Center, 4433 Cooper Road, $5 per person. Read more.
Blue Ash Mayor makes most influential list; Blue Ash named top city for U.S. headquarters
Congratulations to Blue Ash Mayor Marc Sirkin for being named one of the top 500 most influential executives in Ohio, according to Ohio Business Magazine.

The inaugural Ohio 500 list features movers and shakers from several categories including finance, education, arts, economic development, and government. Read more.
The City of Blue Ash has ranked at the top of another prestigious list!

Blue Ash is one of the top 15 U.S. cities primed to attract companies to set up their corporate headquarters, according to an analysis by The Boyd Company.

The study analyzed “all major geographically-variable cost factors critical to site selection.” 
Police Department Drug Take Back Day on 10/29
The Blue Ash Police Department and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration will help residents rid their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs on Saturday, October 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

Bring your pills for disposal to the front parking lot of the Municipal and Safety Center, 4343 Cooper Road in Blue Ash. Read more.
Hundreds attend the Fire Department Open House
Thanks to everyone who turned out for the annual Blue Ash Fire Department Open House on October 11 at the North Fire Station!

Children enjoyed a fun obstacle course, feasted on Skyline Chili dogs, watched a live burn, met Sparky, and much more! (Top left photo credit: Vice Mayor Pramod Jhaveri.)

Playground enhancements at Summit Park
The playground at Summit Park will undergo some flooring enhancements next week.

The playground will be closed starting on Monday, October 24, and is expected to reopen on Saturday, October 29.

In addition, the water feature in the Nature Playscape is temporarily closed for maintenance.
