Light the Night at Summit Park
The Summit Park Observation Tower is glowing red this week for Light the Night.

The annual observance honors firefighters who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Learn more.
No tricks, just treats at Halloween Walk in the Woods!
Put on your favorite costume and trick-or-treat in nature at the annual Halloween Walk in the Woods on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 12:00- 3:00 p.m. at the Blue Ash Nature Park, 4433 Cooper Road.

Children and their families can stroll the trails and stop by Halloween-themed booths to receive treats from friendly costumed characters.

You can also make a craft with Abrakadoodle and enjoy a comedy/juggling/ ventriloquism show with Mike Hemmelgarn!

Old firehoses repurposed to protect children
The Blue Ash Fire Department has repurposed old firehoses into simple devices to protect school children.

The firehoses are cut into small sleeves that act as a secondary locking device in classrooms, according to Firefighter/Paramedic Scott Reed. Read more.
Hunt House Open House on 10/8
Join the Blue Ash Historical Society for a fun day full of Blue Ash history!

The Hunt House Open House will take place on Saturday, October 8, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at 4364 Hunt Road.

The event is free and open to the public. Read more about the Hunt House.
Curbside leaf collection begins on Monday
The Blue Ash Public Works Department will begin curbside leaf collection on Monday, October 10.

The goal is to service each street weekly, but during heavy volume periods, in the event of a snow/ice emergency, or due to equipment breakdown, it may take longer to complete a citywide sweep. Read more.
