Les Petits Chanteurs and
Chamber Ensemble

Sunday, September 8, 2019, 4:00 pm
Join us on Sunday, September 8, at 4:00 pm, for an amazing performance by Les Petits Chanteurs,  a choir of 30 singers ages 10 through 16 and an eight-piece chamber ensemble from Holy Trinity Music School, Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Holy Trinity is the oldest music school of its kind in Haiti, and the concert will showcase the country’s rich musical traditions, highlight the talent nurtured at the school, and raise awareness of Haiti’s ongoing rebuilding effort and need for assistance. A free-will offering will be collected at the concert to support the Music School. A reception will follow.

Grace families are needed to host 40 youth and adults, generally housed in pairs. Special events include a Saturday evening dinner for host families and choir members in the Guild Hall. On Sunday, September 8, the choir will worship at Grace and the concert will be held later that afternoon. Guests will spend Sunday night with their host families before returning to Grace on Monday morning to continue their travels.

For more information or to become a host family, please contact Takisha Brown, Parish Administrator, at 718-624-1850 x 10 or click here .

Haven’t read the book yet? There’s plenty of time. Read the primary book, America’s Original Sin, or any of the other summer book recommendations and join us on September 22 .
