He is Risen! (Almost)

Join us for a festive Easter celebration this Sunday! We will have fun for all ages, from special activity bags for kids during church including bells to ring when we hear our beloved "Alleluias" to an Easter Egg Hunt (rain or shine) and craft after the service, and a special coffee time with cake and treats. EYC, we need your help! Please show up by 9:30 to help hide Easter eggs for the little ones to hunt, and if you are able, please stick around to help out after church too.

Not ready to stay through 'big church' quite yet? All are welcome in our downstairs nursery and playroom, where our wonderful staff will have fun activities (and maybe even a trip to the playground!) for you.

EYC Calendar Changes

Thanks to all of our youth who came out and worked hard at the Parish Workday this Sunday! You all made a huge difference, and everyone was so grateful for you.

Due to the last minute date change for the Parish Workday, How Do We Do Hard? with Rev John DeBeer has been rescheduled to April 16th from 5-6:30 in Herman Hall. John will be visiting to talk to us about how our faith can help us handle stress. Come dressed to move and bring a beach towel.

We have made a couple of changes to our calendar for the remainder of the school year, so be sure to take note.

Kids of the Kingdom Ice Cream Social

Rising 3-5 graders, we want a chance to connect with you! We'll be bringing back the Kids of the Kingdom class for our church's BKOCs (Big Kids On Campus) during children's formation time in the fall, and we want to offer a chance for us all to get to know each other (and live our best lives with ice cream and all the toppings) on Sunday April 16th on the playground directly following church.

Email [email protected] with any questions or special dietary requests.

Children's Chapel is Sunday, April 16th

Our next Children's Chapel will be Sunday, April 16th, the first Sunday after Easter. Children will process out of the church as usual and will return during announcements, but this time we will head downstairs to our chapel for a story, thanksgiving, and music with Mr Riley.

Communion Celebration

For Kindergarten-Fifth Grade

On April 23rd and 30th, we invite all interested elementary-age children to join us after church for a celebration of communion, a two-class series where we will learn about the rite of communion, why we celebrate it each week, and what it means to us as a church. The first week, families will meet in the church for a story, tour of the sacristy, and Communion Show and Tell, and the second week we will meet in the Godly Play room to learn the story of The Good Shepherd. On May 7th, we will sit together as a group during church, and will take communion together. We hope you will join us for this fun opportunity to learn more about this important sacrament.

Let's Get the Grownups Together - Spring Parent Gathering at the Taylor's Sunday, May 7th

Join us for a fun parent gathering at Craig and Anna Taylor's (117 S Tremont Dr) on Sunday May 7th at 6 pm. Whether you're missing the connections we made in Whole-Hearted Parenting class, you want an opportunity to get to know more parents at St Andrews, or you just need a time to relax and fellowship with other like-minded adults, this is sure to be a great event for you.

Look out for more information to follow. We hope to see you on the 7th!

Youth Sunday is May 21st

We are excited to honor the youth who do so much to make St Andrews the joyful, welcoming place that it is, with Youth Sunday on May 21st. Our 6-12th graders will be taking on much of the work that makes our services run smoothly, from ushering to reading to giving the sermon.

We will have a special gift and blessing for our graduating seniors during Youth Sunday. Please send Martha the name of your Senior and their plans for next year.
