RISE is This Sunday - and All Ages are welcome

The Mission and Outreach Committee is excited to host our first parish–wide “RISE Against Hunger” meal packing event on All Saints’ Sunday. On this feast day in the church year, we will gather after worship to pack 10,000 dehydrated and nutritious meals in two hours. The meals will be shipped to neighbors around the globe who are suffering from hunger. Participation is accessible for all ages from small to tall! We'll also have a special procession out of the sanctuary for Children's Ministry time to the tune of 'Oh When the Saints Go Marching In' in honor of All Saint's Day.

EYC - We need your help!

In addition to the main RISE meal-packing event after worship, we also are recruiting helpers for heavy (50-lb.) lifting at 10:30 that morning. If you've always wanted to wear athleisure to church and you could use 4 service hours, this is the event for you!

Parish Workday and a Date Change for EYC

One of the many important ways that we can have fun together while giving back to our St. Andrews family is through twice-annual Parish Workdays, when we help spruce up and love on our church's beautiful building and grounds. This year's Parish Workday has been scheduled for Sunday, November 12th, which creates a conflict with our EYC meeting for that day. So, we're moving the fun of our Rake and Run to the next Sunday, November 19th, when we'll be Raking Beyond Borders with a fun competition to see which of two teams can rake the most unsuspecting yards in our neighborhood. The winning team gets to go first when we return to the church for a cheese pizza celebratory dinner. Get your rakes and gardening gloves ready!

Seen Lately in CYF

From creating prayer cards in Kids of the Kingdom to getting wild at Skywild with EYC, to finding magic moments in Godly Play, in the nursery, and on the playground, October was an incredible month for our children, youth, and families!
