June started with a bang with me at the Blue Ridge Mountain Christian Writers Conference. Other than the weather being rainy and cold, I had a fabulous time. My focus was to attend classes on marketing, media, branding, and book launching. The Lord blessed me to make some great connections and to meet some of my mastermind sisters for the first time. We've been meeting via Zoom for a few years.
After I left Blue Ridge, my next stop was the Re: Discover, Re: Ignite Her Summit in Atlanta, Georgia, held at the beautiful Evergreen Lakeside Resort at Stone Mountain. A bonus was seeing my niece, her family, and my nephew.
In Atlanta, it blessed me to connect with friends from long ago and to meet new friends.
Next, I headed to Maryland to spend time with my beautiful family and friends.
I worshipped at Beulah Baptist Church, New Chapel Baptist Church, and New Birth Church.
My sister and I took a trip to Canada, where I visited the world's largest underground mall, the smallest chapel in the world, and Niagara Falls. To see more pictures.
It's been a month filled with gratitude and I appreciate every moment.
Book news: I am still working with my editor to get my manuscript ready to send to the publishing house. I am very excited to share my story and I believe it will be a blessing for those who are dealing with the transitions of life. Nothing lasts forever, good or bad, and we need to know how to keep moving amid life's challenges.
Let me know how I can pray for you.
