If you have not yet filled out the Mortar Board Member Needs Survey, we hope you will take a few members to help us better understand "What do our members want from Mortar Board?" With Thanksgiving just around the corner, we want to recognize how Mortar Board can best serve you! How can Mortar Board support you in your career, goals and learning? Are you looking for networking opportunities or ways to give back?

The survey is anonymous and we estimate a completion time of around five minutes. After submitting the survey, you will have the opportunity to enter your information into a drawing to receive a complimentary 1-year Mortar Board Alumni Association (MBAA) Membership and/or Mortar Board “swag.” Note: To enter the drawing, you will click on a new link that is not connected to the survey, so your response remains confidential. The survey will close on November 30.

Alumni Awards: Nominate! Nominate! Nominate!

As the National Council encourages collegiate chapters to increase campus-based nominations for membership, we encourage our alumni to also step forward and embrace nominations.
We receive very few nominations for our alumni awards. Why? Busy schedules? Lack of awareness? Disinterest? We urge you to look past these possibilities and take it upon yourself to nominate Mortar Board alumni that you know NOW for alumni awards. These are “rolling nominations,” so you don’t have to wait until a deadline.

Mortar Board is an organization who cares about both our students and our alumni, and we are working hard to facilitate meaningful mentor/mentee relationships.

We are asking for your help to expand our networking program into a vibrant and robust mentorship program. Mentorship enriches the experiences of students and creates a lasting impact. A meaningful mentorship experience also supports our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion mission and goals through building intentional relationships across our members.
