The votes are in and Cassandra Nagle has been unanimously chosen for the position of Associate Pastor at Lord of Life. Her Ordination/Installation as Associate Pastor will be Saturday, April 22.

We mourn the loss of Lord of Life member John R. Kaylor (Bob), who passed away March 3. Please pray for his wife, Connie, and their family as they grieve his passing. His funeral will be at Lord of Life on Saturday, April 1 at 2pm. More details will be available soon.

Hug A Bears - Sew & stuff soft bears for Memorial Hermann Hospital & the Community Clinic. Volunteers meet every 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 9:30am. Next meeting: March 20.

Sew It Wednesdays - 2nd & 4th Wednesday of every month, 11:30am upstairs in Room 21/Library. Help us create quilts for those who need prayers or to celebrate life events, like a new baby. All skill levels needed. We will teach you! This month: Mar. 22.

Operation Pets Alive/Petco Love Vaccine Clinic - Lord of Life is hosting a free clinic on Sunday Mar. 26 from 2-6pm in the parking lot. Vaccines for feline Panleukopenia and Canine Distemper/Parvo are included. Register cats here. Register Dogs here.

Worship Video Tech position available - This part-time, paid position involves running video slides during church to help us enhance our worship. Must be available Sundays 8am - Noon, as well as extra services (Wednesday nights during Advent and Lent, Holy Week services, and others such as Christmas Eve). Parents Night Out - Saturday, Mar. 25 at 5:30pm. You get a night out while your kids get a night in! Sign up here to register your 6-month-olds through 6^th grader. A sixth grade Footstep has been added to our Footsteps in Faith program. On March 26^th, all sixth graders and their parents are invited to join us at 9:45am in the Fellowship Hall for a class about The 10 Commandments. If you would like to attend, please email us. . 

Communion 101 - Sunday, April 2 in the Fellowship Hall. For grades 1st through 3rd, this class is an opportunity for parents and kids to have a conversation and ask questions about communion. Get a behind-the-scenes look at how communion is prepared and taste the grape juice and wine. Attendees may take their first communion at Maundy Thursday worship at 7pm, April 6. Register here.

Lutherhill Day Camp at Lord of Life - Sign up here to register your current Kindergarteners through 5^th graders to attend June 26-30^th at Lord of Life. Children will explore prayer with the theme of Amen! We will sing, spend time in nature, play games, serve our community and learn more about God’s love for us.

The Hands of Faith Fair Trade Ministry is a member of the Fair Trade Federation and upholds their principles, one of which is to CREATE OPPTORUNITIES for economically and socially marginalized farmers and artisans. The goal is to alleviate poverty and to sustain development through long-term trading partnerships.

This week we lift up prayers for the people of NEPAL and the artisans who make jewelry through Aid for Trade, pet toys through Dharma Dog and Karma Cat, and felted décor and embroidered bags through Ganesh Himal.
