Mid-week Lenten Worship Wednesday, March 26, The God Who Fights for You (with Holden Evening Prayer) at 7pm.

For this year’s midweek Lenten offering, we will be collecting funds for Global Refuge (formerly Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service).

Easter Lilies Purchase an Easter lily in memory or in honor of a loved one to be displayed around the altar on Easter Sunday. The cost is only $10. Sign up on Realm or at the Welcome Desk.

God's Work, Our Hands

PICTURE DAY - At Lord of Life, we believe that building connections and creating a sense of community is essential to spiritual growth. That's why we are excited to offer you the opportunity to add your picture to your Realm profile. By doing so, you'll be building relationships with your fellow members and strengthening the bonds that make our community so special. Join us THIS SUNDAY, March 23 from 8:30 to noon at the Welcome Center to get your picture taken. Let's get connected and SMILE PRETTY! 

Stitch and Sew - Every Saturday at 9:30am in the Library (Rm 21), upstairs. All skill levels are welcome. Learning opportunities available. Help create needlepoint blankets to celebrate life events, like baptisms, and prayer quilts for those who need healing.


Have you ever wanted to learn basic sewing or quilting? Join Stitch and Sew on Saturday, April 5 and 12 from 9:30am to 2pm. You will learn how to use a rotary cutting system and a sewing machine to create the versatile, yet basic, nine-block quilt square. Fabric is included in this free learning event. Questions? Call Natalie Harvey at 832.297.3822.

Barnyard Bash Sunday, March 30 at 9:45am.

Join us for a fun-filled morning. We’ll share the story of the chicken coop we built in Haiti with Y-Knot Missions, adopt animals from God’s Global Barnyard, enjoy some barnyard fun, pet real chickens, play games, and snack on some tasty nuggets. You won’t want to miss this eggs-tra special event! 

Feed the Homeless

We’ll serve lunch to the unhoused at Lewis Park in Conroe with Compassion United on Saturday, April 12. Sign up to shop, make sandwiches and serve.

Lunch and Learn - Emergency Preparedness, Sunday, April 13 at 12:15 in the Fellowship Hall. Childcare available.

We are looking for 12 enthusiastic volunteers to help us co-host a

Book Bus event

with The Champion Project on the morning of May 3rd. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children who are waiting for their forever homes. Training session on April 15th for all volunteers.

Fellowship Opportunities

Music, Meals, and More Every Wednesday at Lord of Life. Need a quick and easy meal option on Wednesday nights? Join us for food and fellowship. This week: Soup Supper, served 5:30-7pm. All are welcome. 

The Common Table - A fellowship group for seniors, ages 55+, with our neighbors at Trinity Episcopal Church.

 

Join us Friday, March 21 from 4:45-6pm at Trinity Episcopal Church, 3901 S. Panther Creek Dr. for the Annual Hal Donnelly Memorial Fish Dinner. The Brotherhood of St. Andrew sponsors a fish dinner with proceeds going to various youth activities. For more information or to get on the mailing list email Helen Geiger or Arlynne Nickle.

Puzzle Exchange - Sunday, March 23 in the Welcome Center at 9:30am and noon (before, in between, and after Sunday worship).

🔹 Bring a gently used puzzle (or a few!) with all the pieces.

🔹 Enjoy community, conversation, and a little challenge!

Bunco Night - Join us the 4th Thursday of every month in the Welcome Center for fellowship and fun centered around playing Bunco. You do not need to know how to play. We will teach you. Bring $5 and a snack to share March 27 at 7pm.

Crafters, Unite!

Do you scrapbook, journal, or make greeting cards? Join us for papercrafting Saturday, Mar. 29, 12-5pm in the Library (Rm 21) upstairs at Lord of Life. Supplies for making a specific stamp-based greeting card will be made available. Feel free to bring your own supplies and project.

Lord of Life Concert Series- Experience the magic of music with the Woodland Winds on Sunday, March 30th @ 5pm at Lord of Life. Admission is free. Spread the word and bring your friends! RSVP and share the event on Facebook!

Instrumental Music Opportunities

Next Family Orchestra opportunity (7th grade through adults, any instrument) is for the 8:30 worship on Easter Sunday, April 20. Rehearsal is Wednesday, April 16 at 6:45pm. Email Jeremy to sign up.

Summer Camps


True North VBS - REGISTER HERE to participate or volunteer: June 9-13, 9am-Noon Daily for children age 3 by Jan 1, 2025 & fully potty trained, through students completing 4th grade. All upcoming 6th graders through adults can volunteer (Free childcare is provided to volunteers with children too young to participate).


Lutherhill Day Camp - REGISTER HERE to participate or volunteer: June 23-27, 9am-3:30pm daily with new activities! Students who have completed kindergarten through students who have completed 5th grade are invited to participate. Volunteer opportunities for upcoming 7th graders through adults.
