20th Anniversary of Fair Trade at Lord of Life
We’re excited to announce that Anne Swetich’s family will be joining us for the 20-year celebration of Fair Trade at LOL!
Back in 2005, Anne—our very first Director of Outreach—began educating our congregation about how Fair Trade can help fight global poverty. From her vision grew our thriving Hands of Faith Fair Trade Ministry.
Join us as we honor her legacy and celebrate this milestone on Sunday, Sept. 21 at 12pm in the Fellowship Hall. Lunch will be provided!

Blessing of the Pets
Celebrate animals at Lord of Life on Sunday, Oct. 5th!
DONATE: Visit with Active Paws Rescue in the Welcome Center at 9:45am to learn more about what they do. Consider donating items they need most - puppy food treats (wet or dry), dog beds, and towels/blankets (used ok).
SHOP: Hands of Faith Fair Trade Store will donate 20% of sales Oct. 5 to Active Paws Rescue.
BLESS: If it barks, meows, chirps, scurries, hops, slithers, or streaks, bring it to Lord of Life for the Blessing of the Pets at 2pm.

Stitch and Sew - Every Saturday at 9:30am upstairs in the Library (Rm 21). All skill levels are welcome. Learning opportunities available. Help create needlepoint blankets to celebrate life events, like baptisms, and prayer quilts for those who need healing.
| | Hug A Bears - Sew & stuff soft bears for Memorial Hermann Hospital & the Community Clinic. Volunteers meet every 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 9:30am. Next meeting: Oct. 6. | | RuthAnn's Remnants - Make quilts to send around the world for Lutheran World Relief. You can even work from home! Music Leaders Needed
Do you love music? Can you carry a tune and share a smile? Health Ministry is looking for compassionate people to help lead a monthly sing-along for those with memory loss and their caregivers.
Share your gifts of music and presence as we gather on a Friday morning for music, food, and fellowship. All are welcome, and we'd love to have you.

Sunday School Volunteers Needed!
We’re getting ready for another fun year and are looking for kind, enthusiastic volunteers to join our Sunday School team! Sunday School works on a rotating schedule, so you can sign up for just one (or more!) Sundays a month, whatever fits your schedule. Just one Sunday a month makes a big difference.
Open Roles:
- Preschool & Kindergarten
- 3rd & 4th Grades
- Floater (assigned each Sunday where needed)
- Substitute
We make it easy:
- Lessons are emailed in advance and easy to follow
- All supplies are prepped and ready each Sunday
