WORSHIP THIS WEEK

Join us for worship this Sunday, May 4 at 8:30 or 11am in-person, on Facebook or online at our website.

This Sunday is Food Pantry Sunday

Bring groceries to fill local Food Pantries. Biggest needs: canned vegetables and apple sauce cups. No time to shop? Bring your change (or bills!) for Second Collection, especially for food-deficient families in Montgomery County.

Budget Roundtable

In preparation for the upcoming congregational meeting on May 18 (see below for more details), there will be two roundtable discussions. One is Sunday, May 4 at 9:45 am and the other is next Sunday, May 11 at 9:45 am. Both meetings are in Room 23 upstairs.

God's Work, Our Hands

We will co-host a Book Bus event with the Champion Project on the morning of May 3. Our Book Bus volunteers need your help in providing breakfast for 25 girls in a group home. Items are due to the church kitchen by THIS SATURDAY, May 2.

We pray for the family and friends of Lord of Life member Bobby Blair, who died last week. We are especially praying for his wife, Tana, and his children, Martin and Rita. May they find comfort and strength in the days ahead. Bob's funeral service will take place at Lord of Life Lutheran Church on Saturday, May 10th at 11am.

KIVA

Join us on Sunday, May 11, after either the 8:30 am or 11:00 am worship service, to participate in a meaningful initiative.

You have the opportunity to directly influence how your $400 in Kiva microloans will support mothers around the world! Come and learn about potential recipients and cast your vote to help us decide who will receive these vital funds.

Simply pick up a sticker after the service and make your selection. It's a wonderful way to be a part of empowering women and their communities.

Stitch and Sew - Every Saturday at 9:30am in the Library (Rm 21), upstairs. All skill levels are welcome. Learning opportunities available. Help create needlepoint blankets to celebrate life events, like baptisms, and prayer quilts for those who need healing.
