As I write this, it’s late October, the church administration is busy.
We just did the annual generosity / stewardship / pledge drive, with cards being turned in this morning. It will be a couple of weeks before we have any kind of quantitative results. I thought it came together well. And I didn’t have to do anything but watch. The Stewardship Committee, Pastor Jill, and Business Manager Lindsey pulled this event
off. One of the innovations was presenting what the church wants to do this coming year as a “narrative budget” pamphlet, rather than as bullet points in a letter. Did you feel the narrative budget was helpful?
