FROM HOMELESSNESS
TO SECURITY

In 2016, Frances Chapman and her daughter Ryjani were living in a shelter for homeless women and children. Ryjani was experiencing bullying at school and they feared becoming the victim of gang violence. “It was just not the way I wanted live,” Frances said. Now, having moved to a POAH community in New Bedford, Massachusetts, mother and daughter are on the path to a happy, successful life.
