We have had a great (and busy) week already! The Arkansas Valley Baptist Association Annual Meeting was held at our church on Monday which involved many of you. A huge thank you goes to everyone who was involved in the kitchen crew, the greeter team, and all who prayed for the day. Wonderful, gospel-centered sermons were given by Dr. Fulton Ammonette, Dr. John McCallum, and Rev. Jarvis Smith, and worship was given by our own artist in residence Bro. Steve Moore, as well as the worship choir from Second Baptist Church (Park) in West Helena. None of this would have been possible without your generosity. Thank you so much for your continued spiritual and financial support that allow the ministry of FBC to continue, even during such an eventful year as 2020. I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to partner with you as we, together, seek to reflect His character and to extend His Kingdom.
This Sunday, we will be in Philippians 2:19-30. While this passage might seem a little out of place at first, I encourage you to truly dig into these verses before we gather together. Bro. Steve will be taking a very well deserved (and overdue) break this weekend, so Bob Johnson from the Arkansas Baptist State Convention will be here this Sunday to lead us in worship. I know you all will be excited to see him again.
Love you all. See you soon!
For His Glory,
