News for the First Baptist Family
Church Family,

I am so excited for next week as we will once again have Sunday School, nursery, and Wednesday nights. Please be sure to pay attention to all of the details in this newsletter regarding the specifics of these programs, especially as some locations and times have changed. I know that the past few months have not been exactly ideal (according to our standards, at least), but I also know that we have had a Good Shepherd who has been with us every step of the way.

While we are not completely out of the woods yet regarding COVID-19, it is refreshing to once again be able to gather with our church family. As we do so, let's remember a few things: 1) God really is good! He has faithfully brought us to this point. 2) This is Christ's church. He purchased it with His blood and will continue to sustain us as we endeavor into a new "normal". 3) The church is still the vehicle by which God has chosen to reach the nations (and Lee County). Although things may look a little different now, the gospel is just as good, sweet, and eternally life-changing as it ever has been!

If Sunday School and Wednesday nights weren't a part of your normal pre-COVID routine, I invite you to come join us. If you have been involved in these activities before I say "welcome back!" We really are looking forward to reflecting God's character and extending His Kingdom together!

For His Glory,
Pastor Steven
