It’s that time of year again! Yes, it’s time to have your session’s minutes reviewed. We’ve learned a lot since March 2020 and the pandemic, including the reality that no one size fits all. What does that mean for you and your minutes? Choices! But also some new responsibilities.

Did you know you can find training videos on the Presbytery’s website? Look under “Resources and Documents” for Presbytery Videos such as:

• Manual of Operations Workshop;
• Officer Training for Elders and Deacons (3 parts); and
• Session Structure in the Post-Pandemic Environment



Don’t forget that along with your pastor, you are one of the key communicators in your church — so make sure others know these and other resources are available.

Has your commissioner reported to the session on the March Presbytery meeting?

April 29 from 10am-12pm:

In-person Session Minute Review. First Presbyterian Church of Hackettstown (298 Main Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840). Registration required, other reviewing options available

May 6 from 10am-12pm:

In-person Session Minute Review. Highlands Presbytery Office (390 Route 10 West, Randolph, New Jersey 07869). Registration required, other reviewing options available.

May 9 from 7-9pm:

Stated Meeting of the Highlands Presbytery, Hybrid at Camp Johnsonburg and on Zoom.

Has your commissioner been elected by session for the May Presbytery meeting?

Does your pastor know there is a Pastors’ Retreat May 9-10?

Don’t forget to have your commissioner report to the session after the May Presbytery meeting.



June 1:
