Discounted Tickets: Colorado Ballet’s Production of Coppélia
Colorado Ballet invites members of the SCFD to attend its upcoming production of Coppélia, which returns to the Ellie Caulkins Opera House for the first time since 2008!
When a life-sized doll comes between two village lovers, a young woman dances to the rescue, saving her betrothed from a scheming inventor. Based on the writings of E.T.A. Hoffmann, author of The Nutcracker and The Mouse King, Coppélia is a whimsical story of love and mistaken identity, renowned for its charming blend of humor and classical sensibility. Colorado Ballet’s adaptation features original choreography after Arthur Saint-Léon, staged by Ballet Masters Sandra Brown, Lorita Travaglia, and Maria Mosina, set to the music of Léo Delibes.
Colorado Ballet would like to offer members of the SCFD 20% off tickets to all performances of Coppélia, running March 8-17, 2024. Please use the promo code DOLLS24 at checkout online or contact our friendly Patron Services team at (303) 339-1637, available Monday through Friday from 10am-4pm, to receive the discount.

“Jake’s service to the SCFD Board of Directors has been invaluable,” said Board Chair Jacki Cooper Melmed, “we have no doubt he will continue to be a staunch champion of SCFD and the cultural sector in the future.”
Jake has specialized in state government relations, public affairs, grassroots advocacy, and political campaign management for over 15 years. Jake is passionate about the Denver metro community and the arts, particularly local theatre.
