Engage with Us

SCFD Shout Out

Each month, we’ll be highlighting the efforts of one of our funded partners to help elevate the role that SCFD funding plays in their ability to serve their community. We’re hoping you will help us by sharing something you’ve seen or your organization has done that really hit home. Maybe it was a great curtain speech. Maybe it was a creative use of the SCFD logo and tagline. We’re looking for ways to encourage the effort, so that all of us continue to benefit from the support. Email your photos, stories and video to Arlene Hicks.

LAST CALL: It's not too late to join us on the SCFD Communications Committee!

The SCFD Communications Committee is focused on joining together collectively to lift awareness of the SCFD through the networks and communities already reached by your organization. The committee will develop and review resources as well as track activity and encourage participation. We want each of the more than 300 organizations funded by the district to join us in whatever way they can to encourage and support awareness of the SCFD across the metro area.

The committee will meet quarterly as a group. If you are interested in joining, it’s not too late! Just reach out to Michele Ames and let her know you want to be added to the mailing list. Our next meeting will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Jan. 11
