St Mark's Prayer List

If you would like a name on the prayer list, contact Marcia or Jan Daubener. If you would also like a prayer sent out to Pastoral Care/prayer chain, let Jan know. Starting in September, names will remain on the list for 4 weeks, unless specified otherwise. You may extend (or decrease!) the time by notifying Marcia. We will continue to have folks on the list long term at their request, and will continue to read names aloud on the 3rd Sunday of each month. If you have questions please contact Marcia in the office or Jan (jandaubener@gmail.com).

Daughters of the King

Our vow is for prayer service and evangelism, and confidentiality is paramount to our prayer vow. We can pray for you confidentially for anything you do not wish to be put on the public prayer list. We pray daily for many people including our weekly church prayer list.

Reach out to Marcia at marcia.kephart@stmarksnc.org or call the office to be added to our prayers.

Confirmation classes:

Confirmation class will begin on September 14th, and will be held between the services, or following the one service for Sundays where we have only one service. Bishop Jennifer will be here on November 16th to perform the Confirmation ceremony. If you are interested, or know of anyone who would be interested, please contact either Kim Doolittle or Marcia, so we can get you included in the class. In addition, we will also be Receiving people into the church on November 16th, so if you are new to St. Mark’s, and wish to be received please let Marcia know. As part of the confirmation class, we will be including specific content about St. Mark’s and any who are interested should let us know, so we can let you know the dates of those sessions.

Urgent need for knitters

Our Lions Lamb ministry knits soft cuddly 'critters' for children who are victims of school shootings. We are very short on critters.

Could some of you (friends and neighbors as well) help by knitting critters for us. They can be made 'free hand,' or kits are available.  We have yarn available in Founders Hall.

Please....no plastic attachments that Could be a choaking risk.

We are also in need of Prayer shawls for our prayer shawl ministry!
