Eleanor Hopewell, the owner and curator of the gallery Ethnic Arts states: 

"The World is a Fascinating Place - See it Through Other 
People's Eyes at Ethnic Arts"

Ethnic Arts has been buying in the villages of the world for 39 years. During that time we have known many craftspeople working in the traditional forms and have gained an appreciation of beauty seen through other their eyes.

In addition to textiles, masks, carved figures and decorated furniture by David Marsh, Ethic Arts has beautiful beads from around the world.  

For these classes, you will be able to select these beads to make striking jewelry -- necklaces and/or bracelets to wear home.

The classes will teach:

  • --Graduating or Randomizing Sizes
  • --Using a Focal Bead
  • Color Choices
  • Spacing Beads to Show Them to Their Best Advantage

Have  you ever wanted to construct jewelry with beads you make yourself?  In this class you will learn how make hand made beads with paper, and you will make a new piece of jewelry to wear home. Additional instruction -- How to produce a finished item such as a necklace or bracelet will be taught.

These classes, held on the fourth Saturday of each month, are  for adults and teens ages 15 and up. Beginning to advanced students are welcome.

These classes, held on the third Saturday of the month, are for younger teens and adults 
To learn the art of paper bead-making. 
In these classes you will make a piece of jewelry to wear home

Adult and teens over the age of 12 -- beginning to advanced students are welcome.
