SAY SOMETHING TRAINING BEGINS THIS WEEK
Everyone deserves to feel safe and supported while they are on our campuses every day. The safety and well-being of our students and staff is our top priority -- and requires a proactive approach to violence prevention.

That is why we are happy to introduce the Say Something Anonymous Reporting System to our district. On February 1st, AGMS students will receive training on how to report or submit a tip by mobile app, phone, or online. The student training and system launch will continue through February 4th.

AG FUND AT 53% OF GOAL
We have raised $45,000 and need to raise $85,000 to meet the needs of our students and staff. The AG Fund is our PTO's only fundraiser. Your donations help fund Homecoming events, staff appreciation, student recognition, professional development, software programs, and more.

Tax deductible donations can be made online HERE or by mailing a check made out to AG PTO (memo line: AG Fund) to Kimberly Lineberger, PO Box 11777 Charlotte, NC 29220.
SCHOOL TOURS
AGMS offers monthly school tours for prospective parents and students. Tours are led by parent volunteers and provide information to help you determine if AGMS is a good fit for your family. If you are interested in signing up for a scheduled tour, please use this LINK. Please note, masks are required while on the AGMS campus.
PROSPECTIVE PARENTS OPEN HOUSE
POSTPONED
The Prospective Parents Open House has been postponed until further notice. We look forward to hearing from our new principal, Mr. Darryl Conner, once the event is rescheduled. Look for additional information in an upcoming Bulldog Bulletin.

DEADLINE FOR RECOGNITION ADS IS NEXT WEEK
The deadline to create a recognition ad is Friday, February 4th. The Yearbook staff is hard at work producing a wonderful keepsake book and pages are being reserved in the back of the book for recognition ads. Ads are available in multiple sizes and price points to accommodate your needs. The ads are full color (no black and white available), and you have multiple layouts to choose from.

All ads are managed through Jostens so please DO NOT contact or send any materials to school. Click HERE for the direct link for 8th grade parents to purchase and create their ad, or visit Jostens.com.

HOME BASKETBALL GAME PROCEDURES

In response to Covid, the middle school principals in our division have decided to limit attendance to home basketball games to students with a responsible adult. Students must leave campus at dismissal and return for the game with a parent or adult who will stay and supervise the student. All attendees are expected to wear a mask for the duration of the game.

AG GIRLS LACROSSE
AG Girls Lacrosse will take place from mid-February to late April. Practices will be at The Pit off of Runnymeade between Selwyn Elementary and AGMS at 5pm. We will have two 'tryout' sessions to determine which team girls will play on. Both beginners and more experienced players are welcome, as we typically field two teams. There will be no "cuts" and all skill levels are welcome. Please visit the website HERE for registration or email aglblax@gmail.com. We look forward to welcoming some new faces to the Lady Bulldogs this season!
