THANK YOU, MR. FOLK!

Friday, December 17th is Mr. Folk's last day as principal of AG Middle School. He will be greatly missed, but we wish him well as he starts a new chapter as principal of Myers Park High School.

In honor of Mr. Folk's 11 years of leadership and service, the PTO presented him with a bronze bulldog. Thank you, Mr. Folk, for all you have done for our students and community. Your bulldog family will miss you!

AGMS SPIRIT DAYS IN HONOR OF PRINCIPAL FOLK

AG Bulldogs are invited to show their appreciation for Mr. Folk’s 11 years of leadership and service to our school community by participating in spirit days from December 15th through December 17th. Mr. Folk has accepted the position of Principal at Myers Park High School, and we wish him well in his new endeavor.

Thursday, December 16th: Thank Mr. Folk for his dedication to AGMS by wearing your AG gear or colors.

Friday, December 17th: Celebrate and wish Mr. Folk well as Principal of Myers Park High School by wearing Myers Park High School gear or colors (green and black).

Eighth Grade News

8TH GRADE YEARBOOK RECOGNITION ADS

It is hard to believe that the end of middle school is right around the corner for your 8th grader! This may be a milestone in their life that you would like to recognize in a special way and the perfect way to do that could be with a recognition ad in the 2021-22 AGMS

Yearbook. The Yearbook staff is hard at work producing a wonderful keepsake book and pages are being reserved in the back of the book for recognition ads. Ads are available in multiple sizes and price points to accommodate your needs. Due to limited space, we are suggesting parents choose 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8 page size ads to

accommodate as many ads as possible. The ads are full color (no black and white available), and you have multiple layouts to choose from. The prices are as follows:

1/2 Page - $225.00
1/4 Page - $135.00
1/8 Page - $70.00

All ads are managed through Jostens so please DO NOT contact or send any materials to school. Click HERE for the direct link for 8th grade parents to purchase and create their ad, or visit Jostens.com.

The deadline to create a Recognition Ad is Friday, February 4th, 2022.

Winter Sports News

HOME BASKETBALL GAME PROCEDURES

In response to Covid, the middle school principals in our division have decided to limit attendance to home basketball games to students with a responsible adult. Students must leave campus at dismissal and return for the game with a parent or adult who will stay and supervise the student. All attendees are expected to wear a mask for the duration of the game.

En respuesta a Covid, los directores de escuelas intermedias de nuestra división han decidido limitar la asistencia a los juegos de baloncesto en casa a los estudiantes con un adulto responsable. Los estudiantes deben salir del campus a la hora de la salida y regresar para el juego con un padre o un adulto que se quedará y supervisará al estudiante. Se espera que todos los asistentes usen una máscara durante la duración del juego.
