PERFORMS
Congratulations to the AGMS Jazz Band on their Mardi Gras themed performance last week. Thank you to Mr. Grush for his continuous efforts to make our music program great!
MASK GUIDANCE UPDATED
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education voted February 22nd to make masks optional in CMS facilities effective March 7th.
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services StrongSchools Toolkit has been updated to reflect that CDC guidance is that masks are no longer required on buses or vans operated by public or private schools. Masks are now optional on CMS transportation.

Even after masks become optional, CMS recommends that masks be worn when indoors. The policy change simply means that the choice is up to families regarding whether their students wear a mask or not. For more information, you may read the CMS press release HERE.
