 wild oatsGreetings!

I've noticed lately that I have had a relatively quiet life.  Why do I say this?  Well, any of the wild oats I might have sowed seem to have planted themselves in my yard and need to be mowed!!!

Anyway, June opens the festival season in Old Town.  It should be a great summer, you might just want to move to Old Town so you won't miss anything.

Absolute Gallery has many great shows, art events and special exhibitions planned and hope you visit us soon.  (We are open rain or shine.  Let us hope we have more shine than rain in the coming days.)

Flesh Tones

An Exibition by Suellen Hozman

Rikers photo

Flesh Tones is an art show of silver gelatin prints and personal stories that celebrate flesh colors and flesh decorations. There are 29 photographs and 29 stories. Hopefully, all will be at the opening. The goal is to improve quality of life for people with flesh colors and decorations that have prompted discrimination and cruelty. This is accomplished as each attendee experiences the photo and story. An education table with representatives from national organizations will be present. In this way, the experience of the photo and story can be processed by meeting the person and learning about their flesh decoration.
