From the Pastor's Desk:

Dear church,

It has been just under a month since I have officially met all of you. We have already spent Reformation Day and All Saints together, and will soon experience Christ the King Sunday and the season of Advent.

I am learning so much already here at Acacia Park from wandering around the different hallways, discovering rooms and the stories behind different items here at the church. I’m also learning so much from each of you in the conversations and stories you’ve been sharing with me. One of my favorite discoveries was the embroidered table cloth used for our All Saints service. I could feel the rich history of love woven into that piece of fabric as I read through each name.

I look forward to spending more time with you outside of Sunday service at our upcoming Soup & Bingo night on November 15 and our Thanksgiving luncheon following service on November 23.

Yours faithfully In Christ,

Pastor Tom
