From the President's Desk:

President's report:

We have SO many exciting things coming up!!!  But first, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to our Call Committee. Through their efforts they have lifted up a potential new pastor for us, Pastor Tom. Council has unanimously approved of him and our final step in the process is the congregation vote. As is previously mentioned in this newsletter, we will be having a Meet and Greet on October 12th from 8:30 to 9:30 to give our members a chance to meet Pastor Tom and ask any questions you may have. From there, Pastor Tom will lead us in service. Immediately following our service Pastor Tom will leave and we will have our vote to hopefully accept Pastor Tom's leadership to our church.  Yahoooooooooooooooooo!

We do need a quorum of members for this vote so please, please show up, encourage members who haven't attended in a while to come join us. Let's all show Pastor Tom how much this means to us and our church by showing up and supporting him. If you come to service on Sundays, please reach out to at least one member that you haven't seen in a while and ask them to join us. We will be serving coffee and refreshments with the Meet and Greet and if you'd like to bring something to share, that would be greatly appreciated.

Dagny has graciously agreed to lead us in a Bible study immediately following service on the last Sunday of the month. Please join us in the back of the church (just like we used to!) for some great discussions on the last Sunday of the month.

We have a food drive coming up for the month of October to benefit recipients of St. Cyprian's food pantry. We'll have baskets set up in the Narthex for any donations. Please make sure the donations are unopened and not expired. Please help us help those in need.

Thank you, as always, for listening/reading and I hope to see you in church! Stay well and help others,

Karen Lanners, President
