"The Path to Action "

Scripture Lesson
Matthew 16:21-28
Matthew 21:9-13

This Sunday
In as much as we will be having two services this Sunday, they will not be at 9:00am and 11:00am.  This Sunday we'll be one Body of Christ worshiping at different times in very different locations.  About 60 of us will be at Lazy F Camp and Retreat Center doing our annual Lazy F Mission Projects.  The rest of us will be at Aldersgate worshiping at 10:00am.  Vince Fratello will bring the message at Aldersgate.  At Lazy F we will worshiping at the outdoor chapel, and then move from project to project to anoint and bless each site.  In as much as we may be apart, our hearts will be joined on Sunday morning simply as one Body of Christ worshiping in two locations.  I simply ask that, as we worship, we pray for each other.  God's grace, peace and love has no bounds, particularly geographic.  May both services be rich in wisdom, and filled with the love of God.  To prepare please read the two scriptures for the Aldersgate message.  They are Matthew 21:9-13 and Matthew 16:21-28.  For the Lazy F worship service read James 2:14-20.

Pastor's Discretionary Fund
Friends, the requests keep coming in and the needs are great.  I am aware that we continue in a time of pledges and stewardship, however, the Pastor's Discretionary Fund is not only depleted but now running in a deficit.  If you feel called to continue to support this ministry at Aldersgate, please add a bit to the plate  on Sunday .  Even if it's a small amount, everything helps.  Through this fund we're feeding the hungry, clothing those in need, and offering hope to those who are currently without it.  Every cent of this fund goes to help the most desperate of those living around us.  Thank you so much for all that you do.  It is already beyond miraculous.  At the same time, I need to ask.  Thanks for prayerfully considering the Pastor's Discretionary Fund with help.  Thank You! .
One Service at 10:00am
