Alderwoman
15th Ward

A quick safety reminder as daylight hours dwindle--please leave your front porch light on to improve visibility after dark. There are many fun events happening in the neighborhood this Fall--hope to see you at one or more!

Tower Grove Heights Meeting Tonight

I hope you will attend the regular monthly meeting of the Tower Grove Heights neighborhood association. We meet at 7:15 PM at the Divine Science First Church located at  3617 Wyoming. It's a good chance to meet new neighbors and learn what events and projects are underway. Including...
.
Food, Drink and Fun at Autumn Fest

Mark your calendar for the evening of Saturday, October 8th. Autumn Fest in the Heights is a progressive party at three addresses on Juniata and Hartford. This year it will feature a wine tasting, food from nearby restaurants and local chefs, and pedicab rides.

Tickets are $15 in advance by check, $16 online, and $20 at the door; funds raised support the TGHNA. Autumn Fest in the Heights begins at 5 PM and goes until 8:30 PM. See  details and pre-register at the event website.

15th Ward Gets New NSO

Please help me in welcoming Chloe Hollett, our new Neighborhood Stabilization Officer, aka Neighborhood Improvement Specialist (NIS). Stabilization officers help to identify and address safety and nuisance issues, serving as a liaison between the City, police and citizens, aldermen, block captains and other neighborhood leaders.

You may reach Chloe by email at ishollettC@stlouis-mo.gov or by phone at 314-657-1363.

Friendly's Meet 'n' Greet on Oct. 4th

Friendly's South City Sports Bar & Grill is under new management. The new team wants to step out on the right foot with a meet 'n' greet in order to field questions and address any wishes and concerns that neighbors may have. The Tower Grove South Neighborhood Association is hosting the event.

Text of Muslim Solidarity Resolution

Last week I helped introduce the Muslim Solidarity Resolution of 2016, urging St. Louis to join 50 other cities in standing up to bigotry, violence and hate-speech directed at Muslim members of our community . The resolution will be voted on this week.  Please click to read Resolution 120 in its entirety.

Thanks for all you do to make the 15th Ward in St. Louis a wonderful place to call home. It's an honor to serve as your Alderwoman.

Sincerely,

Megan
