Your Feedback About AGR's Services:

Surgical Skills Suite/Bioskills Laboratory:

"I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how much we all enjoyed this morning's lab at AGR. Your presentation was fantastic...just the right level and tone for EMS providers just beginning their ALS training. As we discussed, I'm already signed up as a future donor, so I was particularly impressed with the respect and appreciation with which you treated those who have entrusted AGR with their remains. Once again, on behalf of all of our students, thanks so much to you and AGR for such a wonderful learning opportunity."

Current Research

Several AGR donors from 2015 went on to support Glioblastoma research initiatives. Glioblastoma  is the most common and most aggressive malignant primary brain tumor  in human beings. Glioblastomas represent about 15% of all brain tumors. Survival rates after diagnosis are generally 12-15 months. AGR recognizes the impact this disease has on society and believes in fully supporting research to better understand and treat this type of cancer.

Multiple Sclerosis

AGR placed several donors from 2015 into a research study conducted by a highly r egarded  teaching university specifically focused on treating multiple sclerosis Many people suffering from this disease have signed up as Future Donors on AGR's Donor Registry. AGR is committed to continuing to support MS research related endeavors.

Diabetes  Research

A large majority of AGR donors have a personal or family history of diabetes.
AGR has a research client specifically studying the affects of diabetes on bone health. Many diabetic patients develop debilitating orthopedic conditions as result of this widespread disease. AGR placed many donors into this study during 2015.

Pediatric Spine Conditions Research

AGR partnered with a special team of researchers solely focused on treating pediatric spinal problems that result from conditions or traumatic injury. Adult donors with scoliosis and other orthopedic conditions were successfully matched with this special project with the hope of continuing to improve the lives of children.
