Diane Hould

Diane Hould has been involved with ringing and directing handbells for 20 years. Diane is the Director of Choirs at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Shelby, MT, where she directs both the handbell and vocal choirs and assists with planning the Wednesday night non-traditional service. She has taught at state and area festivals and currently serves as the Montana State Chair for Area 10. Diane holds a degree in vocal education from Montana State University. She sang for over 10 years with the Great Falls Symphonic Choir and is an active vocal soloist in the communities of Shelby and Conrad. She also is co-director of Strings n Things, a community performing group whose mission is to give youth the lifelong skills gained through performing.

Ann Pomazal

Ann has been a handbell musician since 2008, ringing in two church choirs and a community ensemble, Pacific Ringers. Currently serving as the Membership Chair for Area 10, Ann has served as both Treasurer and Secretary for several non-profit organizations, including PTA, neighborhood association and a community swimming pool and has serves on the Core Staff of a Girl Scout day camp. A life-long Portland, Oregon resident, she recently started working for Viewpoint, a construction accounting software company, as an Application Support Specialist. Together with her husband Bruce, Ann has a blended family of seven children and four grandchildren. Her three youngest daughters are all also handbell musicians. When she is not ringing, working, volunteering or doing the many things involved with raising children, Ann spends her time gardening, tending to her flock of chickens, camping with her family and occasionally helping her entrepreneurial friends with their websites or bookkeeping.

Brian Parrott

Brian first attended a bell choir rehearsal just to "try it out" 21 years ago. He has been ringing since. He is currently ringing with Bells of the Cascades in Portland, Oregon and is also a solo ringer and a frequent instructor at handbell events and was the facility coordinator for the Handbell Musicians of America National Seminars in 2013 and 2014. Brian is currently the President of Bells of the Cascades and has been its Vice-President and Treasurer. Outside of bells, Brian received a JD/MBA from Willamette University in 2001. He is an attorney in the Portland area and is the past Treasurer and Chair of the Health Law Section of the Oregon State bar. Originally from California, Brian packs up his bells once a year and drives them to CA where his family presents an annual Christmas program for the community. Area 10 has been a great resource for developing as a ringer in Portland and Brian is looking forward to giving back to the Area by serving as treasurer. 

Colin Walker

Colin Walker is the director of handbells at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Bellevue, WA, and serves on the board of the Emerald City Ringers. He has a degree in Administrative Management from Central Washington University and a Master of Public Administration from Seattle University. Professionally, Colin works for Bellevue Parks & Community Services as a Community Relations Coordinator. He is a member of the Washington Recreation & Park Association Board of Directors and has served as its treasurer since 2013. Colin is married, and father of three young children.

 "Teamwork", the annual meeting of musicians and directors offered by the Pacific NW Handbell Directors' Forum, Saturday, September 13, First Unitarian Church, Portland, OR. Glen Hascall is the featured guest with hands on class on working with bass bells. Ellie Hodder leads "Who's in Charge" on having great rehearsals.
