Election Day is this Tuesday and as always, I hope you will go do your civic duty and VOTE! In New York we still have a few days left of early voting, and you can find your early voting site here. Polls are open from 6am-9pm, so make sure you get out and vote!

On Fridays in October #TeamStacey wears pink in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

Opening the Hirsch Family Health Center

History was made when we opened the first ever school based health center in a non-public school! This is a tremendous occasion that I am honored to have helped shepherd into existence. The amazing health services that the students of Yeshiva Darchei Torah will be eligible to receive matches that of the amazing education they get every day. I applaud Rabbi Bender and the entire school community for coming together to make this vision a reality.

It's a Law!!

As your Assemblywoman, I was honored to introduce A.4987 which would require parents of newborn children to watch a brief video on the dangers of drowning. Drowning is currently the leading cause of accidental deaths in the United States in children under 4 years old. This bill will save lives, and I am proud to report that -THIS BILL IS NOW LAW!

Who doesn't love pizza! I had a great time walking in the Kiwanis Club of Howard Beach's 37th Annual Halloween Parade! It was their biggest parade yet and I can't wait to see it grow even bigger!



Summer Reading Challenge Awards!

The Summer Reading Challenge Award train made its first stop at PS 377! These readers didn't let the summer go by without keeping their reading skills sharp. For their hard work, I was happy to present them with awards from the New York State Assembly!
