BACA Prep's Clinical Director, Qusayy Godbolt, will be speaking on:

"The Efficacy of Behavior Support Plans: An Evaluation of Behavior Support Plans Emphasizing Professional Team Collaboration, Social Validity, and Treatment Integrity" 
 
World Class Therapy 

BACA Atlas, located at BACA Z in Zionsville, is an intensive therapy clinic that provides families access to renowned behavior analysts and therapy services. Families that are seeking a direction for their child now have the opportunity to engage in a clinic that creates programs to be implemented at home. The staff assesses skills, provides therapy and trains the family, caregivers and therapy team. The clinic sessions are based on your child's needs, your schedule and your budget.

Free Opportunity for Parents

BACA has a not for profit that raises money for ABA research and parents that utilize ABA. BACA Charities will pay for two parents to attend the upcoming  HABA Conference October 23 and/or October 24, 2015, at the Indianapolis Convention Center. First come, first serve!

Sensory Sensitive Movie Day 

 
Do you live near the Mishawaka area? There's a sensory sensitive movie opportunity coming your way!

Sleep Difficulties in Children With Autism

The healthcare market opens on November 1st and runs through January 31st, 2016.  The open market, through the Affordable Care Act, allows you to purchase a policy for your whole family or a single person.  This is a very useful period for those that do not currently have coverage for ABA therapy.  The open market would allow you to select a policy that is inclusive of ABA in order to obtain services.  Please feel free to contact Colin Clayton with questions.  Important dates for the open market are as follows:
 
  • November 1, 2015: Open Enrollment starts - first day you can enroll in a 2016 insurance plan through the Health Insurance Marketplace. Coverage can start as soon as January 1, 2016.
FYI:  Plans and prices for 2016 will be available by late October.
  • December 15, 2015: Last day to enroll in or change plans for new coverage to start January 1, 2016.
  • January 1, 2016: 2016 coverage starts for those who enroll or change plans by December 15.
  • January 15, 2016: Last day to enroll in or change plans for new coverage to start February 1, 2016.
  • January 31, 2016: 2016 Open Enrollment ends. Enrollments or changes between January 16 and January 31 take effect March 1, 2016.
