Updates from the Secretariat

The National Executive Committee (NEC) met in January and February respectively. The following committee budgets were reviewed and approved:

Notes 
Fundraising Committee $24,200 Night of Glamour planning and other creative fundraising. Projected $128K income.
Convention Planning Committee $10,350
 Partial budget for CPC towards Pearl Anniversary decorations, videography and souvenirs
Culture Committee  $2700 Hosting of cultural night during convention 
Membership Committee $2525 Partial budget to cover expenses related to convention souvenirs, ID card processing and community outreach
Social Committee $5450 Convention planning for kids and BCA-USA awards

The National Executives also approved and disbursed $1000 to Nkumu Fed Fed in support of their 2018 AGM

Annual Convention Magazine: Here is what you need to know and do
Call to all BCA-USA members: Celebrating 30 of Family, Culture and Community.

To reflect this year's convention theme, the annual magazine will feature a special section on families at convention. If you wish your family featured in the magazine, please send a picture of your family at conventions past. 
Limit: 1 picture per family.
