Rally BG on Main Road Closures – Aug. 29
Street closures and parking restrictions will be imposed in downtown Bowling Green for the Rally BG on Main event on Aug. 29.
Main Street from Clay Street to Pearl Street, and East Clough Street from Main Street to Prospect Street will close to traffic at 11 a.m. While Main Street is closed, no through traffic will be permitted on Clough Street, Court Street, Oak Street or Washington Street. Wooster Street will remain open to east and westbound traffic.
On-street parking will be prohibited beginning at 5 a.m. on Main Street from Clay Street to Pearl Street, on Clay Street from Main Street to Grove Street, on East Clough Street from Main Street to Prospect Street, on East Oak Street from Main to midblock and on West Washington Street, from Main Street to Church Street. These restrictions will be in place until the end of the event when the road reopens.
During the Main Street closure, detour routes for local and truck traffic will be posted. Additional bike racks/bicycle parking will be located on North and South Main, at both ends of the event.
All streets will reopen, and parking will be reinstated immediately following the event.
Rally BG on Main is scheduled from 2–8 p.m.
