Axon 2026, a unique networking opportunity that has earned a reputation as THE healthcare event of the year, took place on March 19th at Bell Works in Holmdel, New Jersey.

Over 750 Industry leaders and decision makers took part in Axon, including influential healthcare group operators and top executives, vendors and business owners, representing 350 companies, who packed the elegantly decorated hall for a highly enjoyable evening of friendly and constructive conversation, delicious food and great music. It is critical that BINA's professional staff stay abreast of the latest developments and cutting-edge research in the world of brain injury. A key component of that goal is participation in national and international conferences on brain injury, stroke and spinal injury.

Among the conferences we recently attended were the CHEMED Medicine and Ethics Conference, The Brain Injury Association of America’s 2026 National Conference and Awareness Day, the Brain Injury Collaborative Summit in Arlington, Virginia, and the Brain Injury Symposium - Life After Impact: Uncovering the Unspoken Sides of Brain Injury presented by Burke Rehabilitation and BIANYS.

The conferences are important opportunities to learn, network, share and introduce BINA to new experts in a variety of fields.

Evening of Fun and Relaxation for Women of BINA

BINA hosted an evening of education and relaxation for the women who work so hard to care for their families in challenging circumstances. The informal gathering took place in Brooklyn, building on the success of previous events in Lakewood and Monsey. The women greatly benefited from a presentation by renowned neuropsychologist Dr. Ilana Grunwald of the Rusk Institute who answered questions on a wide range of topics.

BINA is pleased to offer a monthly Zoom meeting for families recently affected by a stroke, TBI or spinal injury. The meeting takes place on the first Wednesday of every month and is hosted by Elchanan Schwarz LMHC, BINA's Director of Crisis Intervention and Crisis Support.
