At the beginning of this year, the Bear Creek Camp Board of Directors embarked on a process of strategic planning to set our vision and direction for the coming years. Many across our community shared their voice through surveys, listening sessions, and one-on-one interviews. A special thank you to everyone who participated in this process!
The Strategic Planning Committee comprised of BCC alumni, pastors, camper parents, board members, and year-round staff listened and discerned through all the information gathered to develop a revised mission statement, vision, and set of core values for our organization.
Following the approval of these key identity pieces, the committee worked to determine ministry result areas that will ensure our organization lives into our mission. Within each of these five identified areas are goals and sub-objectives that give our community tangible tasks to work on in the years to come.
The full plan will be shared in the coming weeks and we look forward to the exciting process of prioritization and resourcing to ensure that we're fulfilling our mission in ways that are sustainable and effective. We as the Bear Creek Camp community are blessed with a bounty of amazing gifts and opportunities to make an impact on the world!
