Saturday Street Life
. . . bringing performers and artists to Belmar
Wander down Main Street on a Saturday afternoon in the summer, and you might find a caricaturist, an Irish duet, teen jazz band, folk singers or any of the other performers and artists who are part of Belmar's new Saturday Street Life.
On Saturdays through Labor Day from 4-8 pm, a variety of performers are stationed at outdoor locations on and around Main Street. A number of retailers are welcoming these entertainers, who are volunteering to perform for free, but can sell their CD's, portraits and solicit gratuities. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE A BELMAR STREET PERFORMER, PLEASE EMAIL MERRY BRENNAN
For more information, email Merry Brennan at merrymom@mac.com.
