Restorative Yoga uses props (blankets, bolsters, pillows, blocks, etc.) and specific poses to allow deep tissue stretches within the body. A very limited number of poses held for longer periods of time allow for deeply held tension within the body to release. Restorative Yoga is appropriate for any and all levels and abilities, and particularly for those healing from illness and/or injury. Jai Yoga School offers MONTHLY Restorative Yoga - their next one if this Friday, 6/22, at 7:30pm.
