Due to budget constraints, the Social Security Adminstration (SSA) is suspending mailings of paper Social Security Statements to workers under the age of 60. They will continue mailing Statements to those 60 and over who do not have a my Social Security online account and are not receiving Social Security benefits. To access your Statement, visit the SSA website and select My Social Security Account to set up an online account.




The Albany County Convention and Visitors Bureau Fund was established to support Albany County's hospitality industry by funding programs that will help build and sustain Albany County tourism destinations, attractions and events and bring more visitors to the County. The grant range is between $1,000 and $5,000. The grant application is due on September 14, 2017.

Joe Ferrannini of Grave Stone Matters is the speaker for the Bethlehem Historical Association's January 19 meeting. Ferrannini is an expert on cemetery preservation and the conservation of stone monuments. He will share his passion for the history to be found in cemeteries. The lecture takes place at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 19 at the Delmar Reformed Church, 386 Delaware Avenue, Delmar. Free and open to the public with refreshments to follow the talk.
