And just like that we're at the start of the 12 Days of Christmas. While we don't have many pear trees here in West Yellowstone we have no shortage of Lodge Pole Pines and word is there's a few grouse here too. If you're on the hunt to get your true love (or fishing buddy) a great fishing gift this is the last week to order and still receive your gifts in time. We do our best to get packages out same day or next day depending on the time of the order. Our local post office staff is awesome and help us out a ton this time of year!
Bucky has continued to add a bunch of stuff to the Sale Page and this week we also tossed all of our Blue Ribbon Flies shirts to that list. There's a link down below for all of our long sleeve and short sleeve shirts. We also featured a cool tying kit from Umpqua, this makes a great gift for anyone getting started into the world of fly tying. Gift Cards are always a safe option and can be used online or in store! Weekly fishing report: I'm still not fully trusting our weather forecast past what I can see out the window currently. But if you haven't been burned by the weatherman yet the weather looks to be awesome this weekend...supposedly. Highs in the low to mid 40's should make for some active fish. Water temps are still cool so plan on targeting the river during the early to mid afternoon when temps are at their peaks. Have a few #20 Improved Zelon Midges for any fish you may find rising and plenty of #20 Zebra Midges and #16 Cream Montana Bullets for subsurface work.

Lucky Bucky
This pattern has become our number one soft hackle for the fall runners on the Madison in Yellowstone National Park, but we have also done well with it on any of the rivers in Montana. During Salmonflies we have found it to be very good.
