We have reached that time of year again, when Boston University School of Medicine community members are putting on an extra layer in preparation for fall, while first-year medical students put on their own coats during the White Coat Ceremony, an event symbolizing the onset of their new and exciting journey at BUSM. This year we asked alumni
to share some advice and sentiments about their time at the School of Medicine. A common theme among these well wishes was the importance of working towards a goal and the positive support system that BUSM provides.
While students in the Class of 2020 are only just beginning their time here, twenty-three students graduated from the inaugural class of the Physician Assistant Program last month in a historic moment for the school and a memorable achievement for themselves.
Reciting the PA Oath together, they celebrated this accomplishment and will soon be entering the next phase of their careers.
Whether students are merely beginning their journey at the School of Medicine or have taken their connections and education to create tremendous impact in the field of medicine, our community members and alumni continue to do work that matters.
I hope you enjoy reading more about our alma mater and all that is has to offer.
