Saturday Food Distribution Program Expands to Help Households in Need
CRC's Saturday Food Distribution has expanded to include both produce and the opportunity to select food in our pantry. Taking place on the second Saturday of every month, this program provides an alternative for participants who cannot attend our weekday programming. Access to the Saturday Food Distribution is by appointment only at this link.
CRC Awarded Nonprofit and Nonprofit Executive of the Year!
We’re excited to share that CRC received two 2024 Nonprofit & Corporate Citizenship Awards from the San Diego Business Journal! Our CEO, John Van Cleef, was named Nonprofit Executive of the Year (large category), and Community Resource Center was honored as Nonprofit of the Year (large category). We currently have opportunities to assist with our truck food rescue pick-ups and deliveries, specifically on Wednesdays or as an on-call substitute volunteer. This early morning shift requires some lifting. To learn more, complete the volunteer application, noting your interest in this role.
