CASC Virtual Conference: Northern Alternatives, June 2-4
The preliminary program is now available for the upcoming Conference of CASC, the Canadian Association for Studies in Co-operation. Their annual conference will take place virtually between June 2-4. There is an exciting and inspiring line-up of keynotes (including Ted Howard and Jessica Gordon-Nembhard), presentations, roundtables, and interactive sessions for this year’s conference. The theme of the Conference is Northern Alternatives: Democratizing and Decolonizing Co-operative Theory and Practice, with the preliminary program available here. You can register for the conference at this link.
International Centre for Co-operative Management, SMU - Education Programs
The International Centre for Co-operative Management (ICCM), based at Saint Mary's University in Halifax, is a leader in education focused on co-operative management and governance, primarily offered online. The ICCM has a great understanding of worker co-operatives. It offers a Master of Management of Co-operatives and Credit Unions (3 years), as well as shorter Diploma and Certificate programs, and various educational events. If you would like to learn more about their programs, their next information webinars will take place as follows:
