Yosemite Foods, Inc. Hosts Junior Directors for Industry Tour

The California Pork Producers Association (CPPA) Junior Directors recently had the opportunity to participate in an industry tour at Yosemite Foods, Inc. in Stockton. This hands-on experience provided an in-depth look at one of California’s leading pork processing facilities and the important role it plays in bringing quality pork to diverse consumer markets.

“Attending the tour at Yosemite Foods provided a great opportunity for myself and the rest of the junior board,” noted Adeline Pombo, 2nd Year Junior Director. “We got to see firsthand the processing side of the pork industry, which is something most of us had never really gotten to experience before!”

Reminder: CPPA Board of Directors Nominations Due Nov. 18th

The California Pork Producers Association is pleased to announce that three (3) seats are open on the CPPA Board of Directors, each for a two-year term. We welcome self nominations from committed individuals who are ready to contribute time, energy, and leadership to our association and the broader pork industry.

Serving on the Board offers a unique opportunity to aid in the execution of our strategic plan pillars which focus on: building our engagement across our own industry and fellow protein producers, strengthen coalitions with California agricultural collaborators in and out of the legislature, continue to invest in outreach and education at all levels and continue to build demand for pork across the state.
