Citizens who wish to provide public comment are invited to attend public meetings or can provide comment by dialing in by phone at the published time. To provide dial-in comment, call toll-free 888-475-4499 or 877-853-5257 and enter the Meeting ID 899 4188 8251 and passcode #. Callers will be provided further instruction during the meeting on how to indicate you wish to speak.

The Calvert Marine Museum (CMM) is excited to welcome campers back for summer programming! CMM offers week-long programs for children entering first through ninth grade led by the museum's trained interpreters. Keep children busy during the long, lazy days of summer with everything from pirates to paleontology.

Food trucks will begin vending off Main Street in Prince Frederick beginning today, Tuesday, March 29. Vendors will be stationed for lunch service in the breezeway next to the Courthouse Annex building located at 176 Main St. in Prince Frederick, directly across from the Calvert County Circuit Courthouse.

Participating food trucks will be on site Tuesdays and Fridays through April. Check out the Food Trucks on Main Street vendor calendar online for schedules.
Parks & Recreation (P&R), Therapeutic Recreation Services, invites you and your friends and family to join us for the annual Therapeutic Recreation Golf Tournament to be held Friday, May 6 at the Chesapeake Hills Golf Course in Lusby. This event is held to raise funds to financially assist individuals with special needs to be able to participate in life enriching programs with P&R. 

The cost is $80 per player which includes greens fees, cart, lunch, contests and prizes. Register online using activity # 470660.
The Linda L. Kelley Animal Shelter currently has a number of cats who aren’t accustomed to human contact or following the “rules” of living in a typical home environment.

Known as working cats, these animals can provide eco-friendly, non-toxic pest control and are ideal for those with a barn, greenhouse, warehouse, retail store, large garage or similar structure.
